SHIPPING OPTIONS

We offer an in-house shipping service for purchasers who cannot collect their guns in person. Please be aware that shipping will only commence in the week after the designated clearance days as published for each sale.

Modern Air Weapons

All modern air weapons (post-1939) will be required to be sent to a registered firearms dealer and cannot be sent to a private individual’s home address.

Deactivated or Antique (S58) Weapons

We can arrange shipping direct to the purchaser, subject to receiving a copy of the purchaser’s photographic ID.

Live Ammunition, Blanks, Primers or CO2 capsules

These lots will need to be collected in person.

Shotguns, Rifles and Modern Air Weapons

For any licensable weapons (S1 or S2), buyers will need to follow the process outlined below:

1. Nominate a Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) in your locality to receive the parcel and confirm the full particulars of the nominated RFD to us by email.
2. Send in your original Firearm / Shotgun certificate by recorded post to: Southams Administration Office, 24 Newnham Street, Bedford, MK40 3JR.
3. Await your re-issued invoice with the charges for packing & shipping added and make payment as soon as possible.

Once the necessary license information and payment have been received, we will ship your guns using Parcelforce Express24/Express48 service.

Standard Firearms Tariff:

Each consignment up to a maximum of 30kg.
Prices quoted are to Zone 1 only (England, Wales & Scotland ex. Highlands & Islands)

Direct to customer:

Up to 2 antique/deactivated pistols £30.00+VAT
Each additional gun £10.00+VAT

Up to 2 antique/deactivated long guns £40.00+VAT
Each additional gun £15.00+VAT

To registered firarms dealer (RFD):

Up to 2 air/FAC pistols £35.00+VAT
Each additional gun £10.00+VAT

Up to 2 air/FAC rifles or shotguns £45.00+VAT
Each additional gun £15.00+VAT

Additional Charges & Insurance:

Shipping to Isle of Wight – Additional £8+VAT;
Saturday Delivery – Additional £14+VAT
AV Surcharge: Age Verification for Edged Weapons (mandatory) £5+VAT

In-Transit Insurance covering loss or misplacement:

Sundry lots such as clothing, books, scopes and gun cases can be shipped directly to the purchaser's registered address.
