Some Lots may incur VAT on the hammer price, these will be noted +VAT within each Lot description.

We regret that we are unable to process requests for condition reports received after 1.00pm on the day preceding the sale.

Access to the saleroom is by catalogue only, priced at £10.00 (admits two).
Identification may be required, and the auctioneers reserve the right to refuse access at their discretion.

Collection of lots purchased are at the designated times and locations as follows :

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday post sale 9am - 3pm

Strictly no collections Friday, Saturday or Monday post sale

Any collection times other than the above are by appointment only directly with the auctioneers.

FIREARMS PACKING & SHIPPING

We offer an in-house shipping service for purchasers who cannot collect their guns in person.
Please be aware that shipping will only commence in the week after the designated clearance days as published for each sale. 

Please note, all modern air weapons (post-1939) will be required to be sent to a registered firearms dealer and cannot be sent to a private individual’s home address.  

For Deactivated Weapons and for those classed as ‘Antique’ (S58), we can arrange shipping direct to the purchaser, subject to receiving a copy of the purchaser’s photographic ID.

1. For shotguns, rifles and modern air weapons (licensable weapons S1; S2) buyers will need to nominate a Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) in their locality to receive their parcel and confirm the full particulars of their nominated RFD to Southams by email.

2. Private purchasers must send their original Firearm / Shotgun certificate by recorded post to: Southams Administration Office, 24 Newnham Street, Bedford, MK40 3JR.

3. Southams will re-issue your original invoice with the charges for packing & shipping added. Once the necessary license information and payment have been received, we will ship your guns using Parcelforce Express24/Express48 service.

* Parcelforce Express £55.00+VAT Each additional gun £10.00+VAT Up to a maximum of 30kg per consignment. *Zone 1 – England, Wales & Scotland (ex. Highlands & Islands) All charges are plus VAT.

SUNDRIES PACKING & SHIPPING
Sundry Lots that do not require a certificate (i.e. not modern guns or ammunition) can be shipped directly to the buyer’s registered address.

Packing & shipping of these lots will be handled by the packing department at W & H Peacock – please email shipping@peacockauction.co.uk for further information.

Attention is drawn to the Auctioneers Conditions of Sale in this catalogue and posted on the premises.
In particular, it is emphasised that all accounts must be settled on the day of sale. Sale currency is GBP.
